Istanbul Gelisim University is making another significant investment to strengthen its engineering and R&D infrastructure.
The "Subsonic Wind Tunnel," established within the Aerodynamics Research Laboratory, boasting the most advanced technical capabilities among foundation universities, in collaboration with the Aeronautical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of Istanbul University and the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), will be officially opened with a ceremony to be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Measuring 50 x 80 x 200 cm and a test speed of 50 m/s, the "Subsonic Wind Tunnel," which will be operational, will significantly contribute to our university's engineering and aviation R&D efforts and provide our students and researchers with experimental learning and practical application opportunities.
