QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), one of the world's most respected higher education ranking organizations, has released its "World University Rankings: Europe 2025" list. Istanbul Gelişim University secured a place within the top 500, maintaining its position as the 4th among private universities in Türkiye.
The UK-based higher education ranking organization QS evaluates universities globally based on criteria such as academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper, faculty/student ratio, international research network, employability, faculty/student diversity, international faculty ratio, and sustainability score. Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) improved its ranking significantly from 432 last year to 411 this year, marking a notable achievement among universities in Turkey.
IGU, driven by its vision as a "World University," stands out nationally and internationally for its scientific and academic innovations, as well as its achievements in sustainability on a global scale. In the "QS Europe-West Asia" category, IGU also rose to 21st place, expanding its success network.
