Regarding the Türkiye–Kazakhstan Railway Cooperation Agreement

Türkiye and Kazakhstan have signed a new railway cooperation agreement aimed at increasing freight transport capacity along the Middle Corridor. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that regular block train services will be launched between the two countries and that freight traffic on the Baku–Tbilisi–Kars railway line will be strengthened.

The agreement includes collaboration in areas such as digitalization, simplified customs procedures, joint investment initiatives, and technical knowledge sharing. This development is expected to enhance the competitiveness of the Middle Corridor and contribute to deeper regional economic integration.
