Robot transporter developed for pallet loads in cooperation with university-industry
SUBU doctoral students designed autonomous transportation vehicles with the support of a company within the scope of the TÜBİTAK project in order to reduce forklift traffic, prevent work accidents and health problems that the personnel may experience due to heavy loads.
Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBU) Graduate Education Institute Director Prof. Dr. Fatih Çalışkan, under the direction of Prof. Dr. İhsan Pehlivan, Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Zahit Yıldız, Assoc. Dr. Barış Boru and 3 doctoral students carried out R&D studies mainly on autonomous transportation vehicles within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2244 Industry Doctorate Project titled "Design, Development and Realization of Autonomous Storage and Logistics Management System".
