The export record was broken in combined transport between November and December.

Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, stated that 202 thousand tons of iron mines passed through the 588 km Bingöl-İskenderun line in November-December, and these products were exported from Iskenderun Payas Port. He added that this figure is a record for maritime and rail transport, which has an important share in our country's export transportation. He also underlined that the total export by railroad reached 921 thousand tons last year, and this figure reached 1 million 200 thousand tons as of the end of this year. He emphasized that the rapid development of our country's railways has a positive contribution to the exporter due to its advantage in transportation costs.
