 Drone Transport

Is The Transport Of The Future Drone Transport?

In fact, the drone, which is an unmanned aerial vehicle, was first tested for military purposes during the First World War. However, despite these tests, unmanned aerial vehicles were not widely used at that time. Today, the use of military unmanned aerial vehicles for military purposes has become extremely widespread and has even gained an important place in strategy formulation. In addition, it has started to be used extensively in many areas in commercial life - such as last mile delivery, health logistics. Especially in the last mile delivery, companies such as Amazon, which are leading company in innovative solutions, have already started to adopt drone transportation and have been able to make profits and achieve customer satisfaction with this vehicle. This should not be surprising, because with the rapid growth of the online retailing industry, drone transportation has become even more important and beneficial. The last mile, which increased with online orders, led to the inadequacy of the warehouses in the city centers and their moving out of the city. This has been a factor increasing the traffic, in a sense, the delivery time. For this reason, drone transport has created a reduction benefit in road traffic in the last mile delivery. İn addition, the necessity of drone transportation has recently increased with the promise of very short delivery times to customers by retailers. In the global business world where customer demands are extremely important, drone transportation will undoubtedly continue to increase its use. As a matter of fact, in some sources, it is even expected to reach a capacity of 100 thousand passengers with a drone by 2050.
