Ease of transit to customs
By opening the Easy Transit Center, TOBBUND will pull hundreds of TIRs from Istanbul traffic with its 'Permitted Shipper' authority, and in addition, it will offer the transporter a time advantage of up to one day in export shipments. With the authorization of the 'Permitted Sender', the goods that are subject to the Transit regime will be able to be shipped without entering the internal customs.
It is aimed to save a great deal of time and cost in the form of TIRs coming to the facility to be established without entering Istanbul traffic and waiting at any internal customs, presenting the transit declaration, having the sealing procedures done and dispatched to the door. The trucks will come directly to the border without passing through Muratbey and Erenköy customs, and will complete the customs procedures in about an hour. The operations of the TIRs that stop by the internal customs such as Muratbey and Erenköy take about 10 hours, mostly a day. The new facility will offer the shipper a significant time advantage. In other words, a truck that previously reached Germany in 5 days will be able to deliver its goods in 4 days. All transporters using TOBBUND guarantee will be able to benefit from the Easy Transit Center. There are approximately 1,250 shipping companies using TOBBUND coverage.
