The Conference of "Logistics Conversation I" was realized

We realized our conference titled "Logistics Conversation" with the participation of our precious Lecturer Dr. Hakan ÇINAR. The conference relalized with the cooperation of the Logistics Management department and the Gelişim Leaders Club. Dr. ÇINAR talked about the emergence of the concept of logistics, the importance of logistics, the relationship between foreign trade and logistics, including the future of logistics and many other significant issues in the conference. When he was talking about all these issues, he gathered all of their attention by providing interactive participation of students.
 
Dr. Hakan ÇINAR, CEO of Ünsped Customs Brokerage and Logistics Services Co., also has a professional speaker and television presenter who talks about foreign trade, economics and logistics issues every week in the "Economics Notes" program at NTV. He also mentioned his professional experience in business life to the students who listened to the conference with all his attention.
 
Dr. ÇINAR is the first to transfer his experience from his student years. When he finished his university 1. class, he started working in the import department.  He talked about how enjoyable he was to visit customs at that time. Then he talked about his experiences at the Head Office in Ekol Logistics. Dr. ÇINAR, currently CEO of the company, If he had the opportunity to participate in interviews, he mentioned the features that he paid attention when employing young people and advised our Logistics Management department students.
 
"The first way to succeed is to take the foreign trade and logistics and even politics into our lives. Consequently, foreign trade is influenced by politics and logistics is also affected by foreign trade. Logistics do not happen without trading. You should follow the news, articles, industry-renowned names of these three areas at every moment of your Life. You must start from today. You should follow your sites including news and industry developments regularly." 
 
Dr. Hakan ÇINAR, also a columnist in the Dünya Newspaper, added:
  "You need to know every development about trade and logistics. I'm a logistician, you don't have a chance to say that ı don’t know foreign trade. You need to know the import export figures of all sectors.  Consequently, you will work as a logistics service provider in a company. For instance, if you are working in the automotive industry, you should have knowledge about the foreign trade figures of this sector. "
 
"In the interviews I attend, I look that the student does not take his job in his life, not from which university he graduated. You study at a good university, but you only learn theoretical knowledge, and you already need to know that knowledge. There are things you need to add to the theoretical knowledge, "He added.
 
Dr. Hakan ÇINAR has been continuing academics for 26 years. He also added: "A logistician must be very good with geography, mathematics, technology and foreign language." These four substances are essential for a logistician. " Dr. ÇINAR warned students to develop these aspects until graduation.
 
All Turkey worries about the problem of unemployment, Dr. ÇINAR, "Yes, there will be unemployment, this is a fact but the logistics sector will grow. The significant thing is, where are you in the sector? " He emphasized that students have graduated in their fields.
 
As for the advice given to the students, Dr. ÇINAR performed in love with his work. He is the founder of ARC Training and Consultancy Company and provides trainings in the fields of foreign trade, logistics and supply chain as well as the CEO of Ünsped Customs Brokerage and Logistics Services Co.., is a non-stop academician for 26 years, Columnist of the Dünya Newspaper, NTV "Economics Notes" TV Programming.
 
The Students were very interested in the conference with their intensive questions. Our students asked about digital transformation, industry 4.0, e-commerce, Turkuality, cargo transportation with drone and the conference ended with the strong applause of our students.
 
Lecturer Hidayet YILDIZ introduced the his plaque to our precious quest Dr. Hakan ÇINAR. Dr. ÇINAR also gave his own book to be placed in the library of our university as a gift. He signed named of  “Dış Ticaretin El Kitabı” his own book on behalf of our university. The book was published by ARC Education and Consultancy Publishing.
 
Dr. Hakan ÇıNAR, indeed, has left a mark in our university with every word! He proved a scholar who really does his job with love and a real academician! We enjoyed, learned and proud to welcome our university. Thank you very much for your valuable contributions!
