The Bletchley Declaration outlines a common vision to promote safety and ethical considerations in the development and deployment of artificial intelligence, resulting from a joint decision by 28 different countries. It is accepted that there may be very dangerous situations caused by AI knowingly or unknowingly. It emphasizes the importance of protecting human rights, openness, explainability, justice, accountability, regulation, safety, human surveillance, ethical behavior, reducing bias, privacy, and data protection.
The holding of the AI security summit marks a promising start for international cooperation on an issue that is considered a serious global threat. AI security summits will continue to be held regularly; It is planned to be held in Korea within the next six months and in France a year later.
These summits are expected to be as inclusive as the Bletchley Declaration hopes and will foster global cooperation on AI security.
