2025–2026 Spring Semester | Two-Course (Graduation) and Grade Improvement Exams

Dear Students,

Please find below the information regarding exam rights to be implemented at the end of the 2025–2026 Spring Semester.

As of the end of the 2025–2026 Spring Semester, an amendment has been made to the relevant regulation. The term “Single Course Exam” in the regulation has been changed to “Two-Course (Graduation) Exam”, and the scope of the practice has been expanded.

Two-Course (Graduation) Exam

As of the end of the 2025–2026 Spring Semester, students who are at the graduation stage are granted the right to take the Two-Course (Graduation) Exam.

In order to apply for this exam, students must:

  • be at the graduation stage, meaning they must have completed their normal period of study,

  • have completed their compulsory summer internships,

  • have a maximum of two failed courses remaining in order to graduate,

  • have fulfilled the attendance requirement for the courses they will take the exam for.

The Two-Course (Graduation) Exam applies to courses conducted in a classroom setting, such as laboratory or workshop-based courses, including 3+0, 3+2, 2+2, and 1+2 courses. This exam right is not granted for courses that consist entirely of practice, such as 0+2, 0+4, 0+6, and 0+8 courses.

  • Application dates: 29.06.2026 – 10.07.2026

  • Exam date: 16.07.2026

Grade Improvement Exam

The Grade Improvement Exam is intended for students who have taken all courses in their curriculum and have passed or conditionally passed them, but are unable to graduate because their GPA is below 2.00.

The following courses are excluded from the scope of the Grade Improvement Exam:

  • Courses from the first 2 semesters in associate degree programs,

  • Courses from the first 4 semesters in undergraduate programs,

  • Courses with an attendance requirement.

Students cannot apply for both the Two-Course (Graduation) Exam and the Grade Improvement Exam in the same exam period.

Grade Improvement Exam Calendar

  • Application dates: 29.06.2026 – 10.07.2026

  • Exam date: 16.07.2026

Applications must be submitted through the Department of Student Affairs.
