Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance Micro-Credential Program

The Department of Management Information Systems supports students in using artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies effectively, consciously, and responsibly in managerial decision-making through its interdisciplinary structure integrating business and information technologies.

Accordingly, the Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance Micro-Credential Program aims to combine AI literacy, data governance, digital ethics, and data-driven decision-making skills, enabling students to develop competencies for active and strategic roles in digital transformation processes.

Program Scope

The program is structured in line with the holistic approach of Management Information Systems, integrating data, technology, people, and business processes. It addresses not only the technical dimensions of artificial intelligence and data technologies, but also their managerial, strategic, and ethical aspects.

The program aims to develop students’ competencies in data-driven decision-making, managing AI-supported business processes, and making responsible decisions in digital transformation initiatives.

Elective Courses within the Program

Artificial Intelligence Literacy focuses on understanding, evaluating, and responsibly using artificial intelligence systems.

Data Security and Cyber Governance addresses data security, privacy, and cyber risks from a managerial perspective.

Business and Information Ethics contributes to analyzing ethical issues arising from the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, while fostering a responsible approach to decision-making.

Business Intelligence supports the development of skills in transforming data into managerial insights through analysis and strengthening data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Competencies Acquired

Students who complete the program can evaluate the fundamental principles and business applications of artificial intelligence technologies and analyze data security, privacy, and cyber risks from a management perspective. They can also assess ethical issues related to the use of artificial intelligence, data, and information technologies and make responsible decisions.

In addition, students can use business intelligence tools and methods to transform data into meaningful information and managerial insights, and apply AI- and data-driven solutions effectively and responsibly in strategic decision-making and business process improvement.

Career Contribution

The Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance Micro-Credential Program supports students’ employability by enabling them to document up-to-date digital competencies required in AI- and data-driven business environments.

Competencies gained in data analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence applications, and digital transformation strengthen students’ preparation for a wide range of career paths. Awareness in data security, cyber governance, and digital ethics also helps prepare them to assume responsible roles in organizational processes.

By developing the ability to connect technology with managerial decision-making, students become better prepared for career opportunities across different sectors and positions.
