2. International New Media Conference was held on the technological developments in communication field. The opening speech of the conference at the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel was made by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Istanbul Gelisim University, Mr. Abdulkadir GAYRETLİ. The organization hosted 30 local and foreign scientists, academicians and students.
Within the activity; the taxation of social media figures, the role of social media in local governments, the importance of new media in the dissemination of museums, digital activism. Focusing on the fact that the target masses are young people who will specialize in new media technologies, the society is in a position to produce, not to consume, information.
