The 7th International New Media Conference, hosted by the New Media and Communication and Radio, Cinema, and Television departments of Istanbul Gelisim University's Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, took place on October 10-11, 2024.
The conference, titled "Media and Social Transformation: From Digital Content Production to Consumption," featured over 100 researchers presenting oral papers. On the first day, the keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Savaş Arslan from Dokuz Eylül University. On the second day, keynote speeches were delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fábio Ribeiro from Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro University and Prof. Dr. Erkan Saka from Istanbul Bilgi University.
The conference, held in a hybrid format both in-person and online, was supported by TÜBİTAK.
