A funding application was submitted for the TÜBİTAK 2223-B National Scientific Event Organization Support program by the New Media and Communication Department for the 7th New Media Conference. Following its evaluation, TÜBİTAK approved the conference for support.
The 7th New Media Conference will be held on October 10-11, 2024, continuing the legacy of last year's 6th edition. Organized under the concept of "Open Science," the conference welcomes participants and visitors free of charge.
This year’s theme is "Media and Social Transformation: From Digital Content Production to Consumption." The previous conference focused on "The Political Economy of New Media."
