Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç, our academic personnel and students attended with great interest and the speakers were Prof. Dr. Cengiz Anık, Dean of Faculty of Communication, Marmara University, Associate Professor Dr. Yavuz Çilliler from Istanbul Gelisim University and July 15 lawyers Zeki Arıtürk and Cihat Gökdemir. Department Head of Political Science and International Relations/ Prof. Dr. Şenol Durgun was the moderator of panel and it continued with examination of July 15, its impacts, reasons and results by the speakers. Following the opening speech of Senol Durgun, Anık and the Çilliler evaluated the events of July 15 in historical and academic sense. Afterwards, Arıtürk and Gökdemir examined the legal aspects of the events of July 15. Following the question and answer session after the talks, panel ended with the presentation of plates and certificates of appreciation to the participants.
