Trakya University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Emre AKCAGÜNDÜZ gave a seminar to our students about the Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS Field and KPSS B), Administrative Judgeship Exam and civil servant appointment processes in the public sector on March 21, 2025 in J Block Mehmet Akif Ersoy conference hall.
Within the scope of the seminar, information about KPSS B was conveyed. KPSS B is an exam for the recruitment of personnel for public institutions in a broader scope and generally includes subjects such as general culture, general ability, Turkish, mathematics. KPSS B is the entrance exam for many different professional groups aiming to work in public services. After providing information about this exam, information about KPSS Field was given. The parts of this exam, which measures the expertise of candidates in their own fields, that concern the students of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences were evaluated. Both of these exams are of critical importance for students who want to pursue a career in the public sector.
In the second part of the seminar, the Administrative Judgeship Examination Process was evaluated
In recent years, alternative exams have also been organized for candidates who want to be more involved in the public sector. One of these is the Administrative Judgeship Exam. This exam, which must be taken by those who want to work in legal positions in public institutions, offers an important opportunity for graduates. The Administrative Judgeship Exam is a comprehensive exam that aims to measure the legal knowledge and practices of candidates. The exam consists of stages such as the application process, evaluation of applications, written and oral exams. This seminar is designed to explain to the students how this process works and how to prepare for the exam, and to help them overcome their concerns about the exam. In the second part of the event, students were provided with information about the details of the Administrative Judgeship exam, exam stages and success rates, and guidance for those who plan to pursue a career in the public sector. We also explained in detail how to apply for the exam, what criteria to look for, and strategies for success in the exam.
In the last part of our event, it was emphasized that the recruitment process in the public sector and the exams in this process should be better explained to the students. Our event aimed to teach students the ways to be successful in exams and to take more conscious steps for young people who want to pursue a career in the public sector. The details of public job applications, the stages of the exams and the difficulties faced by candidates are communicated to a wider student audience through events. Therefore, this event not only provides participants with exam information, but also important tips on how to take all the necessary steps to enter the public sector as a whole and how to achieve career goals.
