The Neuroscience Study Group, which continues its activities within the Brain, Cognition and Behavioral Sciences Laboratory of the Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Department of Psychology, held its first meeting of the 2025–2026 academic year.
At the meeting, the group’s advisor, Asst. Prof. Dr. Selcen Yetkin Özden, shared information about this year’s research plans and activity schedule. The dynamic team, consisting of seven female researchers, aims to conduct interdisciplinary studies in neuroscience and to enhance student participation in scientific research.
Regarding the meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Selcen Yetkin Özden stated:
“Including the advisor, this year’s dynamic team of seven women will undoubtedly accomplish great things through meaningful events and research projects.”
The Neuroscience Study Group will continue to support active academic production within the IGU Department of Psychology through upcoming projects, seminars, and scientific events focused on brain, cognition, and behavioral sciences.
