 Assistant Professor Sarp Bağcan attended International Symposium on Communication in the Digital Age


From Public Relations and Publicity Department, Assistant Professor Sarp BAGCAN made a presentation on global brands and glocal communication strategies in the International Symposium on Communication in the Digital Age held on 18-19 October 2018.


Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Relations and Publicity Sarp BAGCAN attended the International Symposium on Communication in the Digital Age hosted by Mersin University Faculty of Communication and Rectorship.  In the symposium, Sarp BAGCAN talked about the marketing strategies of global brands and explained how a global brand conducts advertising practices in different geographies and cultures.  In his presentation, Sarp BAGCAN, discussing the Coca Cola brand advertising campaigns around the world, revealed the problems that Coca-Cola has experienced in the world through the market analysis methods of global brands. Also he revealed the brand's promotion and market accesing tactics. The presentation provides a framework for global brands' glocal communication strategies.
