Co-production Projects in Cinema from Production to Distribution
Award-winning Director Erdem Tepegöz was the guest of the talk titled “Co-Production Projects in Cinema from Production to Distribution” moderated by Remziye Köse Özelçi.
Under the moderation of Remziye Köse Özelçi, a faculty member; The talk titled "Co-Production Projects in Cinema from Production to Distribution", with the guest of director Erdem Tepegöz, was held on Monday, December 28, 2020, between 15:00 and 16:30.
In the talk, Tepegöz shared his experiences in the production process of his latest movie, Dystopian-science fiction genre Shadows Inside (2020). Emphasizing the importance of preparation and budget in the production of a successful film, Tepegöz added that a director should always be on the lookout, open to innovation, questioning and even skeptical during the writing and creation phases. By giving examples from his own films, some of the details have changed even in the reading rehearsals; Tepegöz stated that screenwriting is a never-ending process and answered questions from our students at the end of the interview.
