IGU is at the top with its sustainability studies!
Istanbul Gelisim University has achieved outstanding success in the field of sustainability in the "University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report-2023" conducted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). In the evaluation, IGU ranked first in the "Use of Renewable Energy Resources" and "Water Conservation" categories. While the university attracts attention with its environmental sustainability projects, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. S. Arda Öztürkcan stated that their goal is to produce all the electricity they consume in their power plants. Standing out in 6 categories in total, IGU focuses on the effective use of natural resources by adopting the "Sustainable Development Goals" and attaches importance to energy and waste management with the awareness of universal responsibility.
