 Message from the Department Chair


Department Chair of Public Relations and Publicity, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Assoc. Dr. Şükran Güzin ILICAK AYDINALP wishes success to our students for the new education period


 Dear Students
 
Our time zone is called "Communication Age" for a long time. With the influence of the internet, which starts with the penetration of my life and then develops rapidly, almost everyone is in contact with each other and with the world at any moment. In the age of communication, not only individuals but also institutions, companies, and brands have to explain themselves to their target groups in these new circles and communicate effectively. Nowadays, communication tools and communication devices that connect the institutions and organizations with target groups are diversified so that there is a growing need for professional communication experts who are able to develop accurate communication strategies and implement them effectively in the right channels, have high communication skills and can accurately analyze the period they are in.
 
The Department of Public Relations and Publicity, which is located within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, is established to train communication specialists who are among the priority professions of the future in a developing field of communication which is a very important field and to do academic studies on this field. Along with the developing technologies, communication environments, communication methods are diversified, differentiated and understanding of relations with new people is emerging. The professional academic lecturer who closely follows the communication world and integrates our program educates the students who know the communication world with all the details together with the theoretical knowledge.
 
As a Public Relations and Publicity Department, our graduates have developed analytical thinking skills that can design the campaigns for establishing accurate and effective communication with all stakeholders and target groups of institutions and organizations, develop strategies, establish the communication language of the institution they are in contact with, we aim to be individuals who can solve problems quickly and rationally. The Public Relations and Publicity Department also offers students the opportunity to apply their theoretical lessons to develop these skills as well as learn what they have learned in practice. For campaigns, photographs, short films, advertising designs, public relations and promotional students are being trained as prospective communication specialists, corporate communication manager candidates, executive candidates for advertising and promotional agencies.
