Istanbul Development University Public Relations and Publicity Department contributed to the conference titled "The Importance of Environmental Consciousness and Recycling" within the scope of social responsibility. Birlik Geri Dönüşüm Plastik Ltd. Şti. Sti. Corporate Communication and Business Development Manager Bahar Polat was guest.

Assoc. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp program was realized with the participation of the students on 01 March 2018. Polat, who came together with the students of the University of Development, emphasized the concepts of environmental awareness and recycling in the presentation of "the importance of environmental awareness and recycling" and what should be done for environment consciousness formation.
 
Recalling that recycling, recovery and re-use should be emphasized, Polat said, "Recycling is not as valuable as ours in our country. Firms do not work with this consciousness. In many countries of Europe, there are ongoing projects for feedback. The business volume of companies recycling in the world is increasing even more. Turkey is still very much in the back, "he said.
 
Polat also underlined the fact that countries benefit from greater recycling thanks to recycling, "We are actually doing garbage business. We make garbage usable. There is a lot of garbage potential in our country, but we do not have the equipment to handle this potential, so we can not make enough income. "
 
Recalling that companies should pay particular attention to the environment in order to create awareness within the scope of corporate social responsibility, Polat explained, "Companies need to be more conscious about this issue because it is a necessary process to process garbage to create environmental awareness."
 
In the interview, Polat stated that the students who will be graduated will have difficulties in finding employment, how they can overcome these difficulties, that a second language learners need to understand the world better today and find jobs, and that human relations have a key role in society and business life.
 
As the Corporate Communication and Business Development Manager, Bahar Polat also gave information about the difficulties of the work he did. the company is late on institutionalization in Turkey Polat says it is not enough corporate "job descriptions firms in more different, is expected to make everything public relations experts, given on the one hand different tasks in a side asked more services.
