Short Film from Public Relations and Publicity Students

The United Nations and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which decided to cooperate with Turkish universities in support of sustainable development and project generation in 150 countries, first visited İstanbul Gelişim University. Within the scope of the two-day project, the headlines of the United Nations website were examined, research was conducted on sustainable development goals, and the importance of young people's awareness of the visual culture they lived on and the importance of "production" was emphasized. Within the scope of the project, short films analyzed such as “We the People”, “GBW and Children”, “Norway child experiment about gender Equality”, “in Order”, “Gender Roles”, “kimseyi dışarıda bırakma” ve “Sayılar Anlatıyor”. At the end of two days, 40 students from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Public Relations and Publicity Department and Radio and Cinema Department drew attention to the reduction of gender inequality by preparing short film in line with sustainable development goals.
 
The spread of sustainable development goals among young people and raising awareness are among the issues that the United Nations has focused on. It is known that the United Nations, which convenes sustainable development targets on 17 points, is particularly emphasizing the following items;

- Apply rights and laws
- Future in solidarity
