Organized for the 14th time this year, the "Istanbul International Architecture and Urban Films Festival" will be held online on YouTube between December 7 and 12 due to the global epidemic of covid-19.
This year, 780 films were sent from 84 countries to the festival, which aims to support documentary and animation films produced with the focus of architecture and the city, encourage new productions and bring acclaimed films to the audience, and a total of 51 films, 6 of which are animations and 45 are documentaries, were selected.
In the competition section of the festival, three awards will be given in documentary and animation branches, and a film in the national category will be awarded with the "Sami Yılmaztürk Special Award" and the awards will be announced on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Festival management announced that the films can be watched on the YouTube page of the Chamber of Architects Istanbul Büyükkent Branch.
