 Applications for 10. Pink Life QueerFest have started!


Applications for Pink Life QueerFest, which will be held for the tenth time in September 2021, have started. The aim of the festival, which is planned to be held in Ankara and Istanbul, is to reach LGBTI + productions from all over the world and to revive the festival selection. The festival team is preparing for a program full of surprise guests and selections of the festival on its 10th anniversary.


The application conditions for the festival, whose deadline for application is June 15, 2021, are as follows;
 
 
1. LGBTI+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex) themed feature films, documentaries, and short films and queer productions can be submitted.
2. Films (features, documentaries, shorts) premiered earlier than Jan 2019 will not be accepted.
3. Screening copies for feature films must have high-resolution downloadable versions.
4. Non-English films must be submitted with English subtitles. Films in English should provide a proper dialogue list.
5. Promotional materials of the selected films must be delivered to kuirfest@pembehayat.org by June 15, 2021. The Festival cannot be held liable for the incomplete and/or incorrect information.
6. The Festival holds discretion over the materials published in the catalog.
7. After the official selection of a film, the festival is entitled to use excerpts from the film of a maximum of 3 minutes, nationally and internationally, for promotional purposes.
8. The festival website is entitled to use any still for the promotion of both the film and the festival program.
9. Screening program is entirely at the discretion of the festival management.
10. Selected films cannot be withdrawn after July 01, 2021.
