 Our Accreditation Success!

Radio Television and Cinema Department became accredited!

Istanbul Gelisim University, which gives great importance to internationalization in education, has international accreditation and protocols signed by foreign universities, providing opportunities for students and graduates to continue education and settlement all over the world.
The Department of Radio, Television and Cinema has successfully completed the necessary process for the AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance) accreditation institution to which our university has applied.

WHAT IS ACCREDITATION?
Having accreditation for universities means certifying the quality of education. Universities approve their education in terms of "quality" by applying to both national and international organizations.
YÖK has set the knowledge of how many academics in the university the university has in the past years in order to facilitate the selection of candidates for university choice and to make them more conscious choices. From 2017 onwards, the accreditation information of the programs of the universities is also included.

AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance) WHY?
AQAS is an independent, non-profit organization consisting of academic associations and higher education institutions. Established in 2002 in Germany, the institution assesses the accreditation of partner and dual degree programs with international partner institutions. The accreditation program he has certified conforms to European standards and principles.
Audit committees, consisting of representatives of academicians, students and real sector representatives from Turkey and abroad, give a final accreditation decision to examine documents, quality system and on-site visits. This decision is also connected to the decision of the AQAS governing board, which consists of about 15 of Germany's most important rector.
