The Movie “About Dry Grasses” Became Turkey's Oscar Nominee
The movie About Dry Grasses, directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, was selected as Turkey's candidate for the 96th Academic Awards (Oscars).
The film that qualified to represent our country in the "Best International Film" category, which was evaluated by a team of 15 experts in the field of cinema and to which seven films applied, was About Dry Grasses. The film, which will be released in Turkey on September 29, also won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
