The Psychology of the Artist: Van Gogh Explored Through an Experiential Exhibition Tour at IGU

Organized as part of the PSY331 – Psychology of Art course, the exhibition tour brought together the disciplines of art and psychology, offering participants an interdisciplinary perspective. The event began with a meeting at 1:45 p.m. at the J Block Main Entrance, followed by departure at 2:00 p.m. to visit the Van Gogh–themed exhibition at the Digital Experience Center (DEC).

The event was organized and guided by Assist. Prof. Güler Canbulat. Throughout the tour, Vincent van Gogh’s artistic production, emotional world, and psychological processes were examined through an immersive digital exhibition experience. Participants had the opportunity to analyze the psychological reflections of light, color, and movement in the artist’s works.
