The United Nations Population Fond and Sustainable Development
United Nations decided to visit universities of 150 country in order to support their sustainable development. Istanbul Gelisim University became the first university in Turkey whichto cooperate.
The United Nations and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which decided to cooperate with Turkish universities in support of sustainable development and project generation in 150 countries, first visited İstanbul Gelişim University. In the two-day project, Prof. Dr. Nezih Orhon and Dr. Sinem Tuna moderated the goals of sustainable development 10 short films were produced on the way to realize the goals. Within the scope of the project, short films analyzed such as “We the People”, “GBW and Children”, “Norway child experiment about gender Equality”, “in Order”, “Gender Roles”, “kimseyi dışarıda bırakma” ve “Sayılar Anlatıyor”. At the end of two days, 40 students from the Public Relations and Publicity Department and Radio and Cinema Department drew attention to the reduction of gender inequality by preparing short film in line with sustainable development goals.
