The third session of the event titled "Sociologists Speak" will be held on May 20, 2025, at 14:00 in Auditorium 311, Block J, with the collaboration of the Department of Sociology at Istanbul Gelisim University, the Sociology Club, and the Social Network Association.
During the event, Evin Turhan, Vice President of the Association, will deliver a talk titled "The Founding of the Social Network Association and Why It Was Needed." Following this, the President of the Association, Çiğdem Yaramışlı, will present on "The Association’s Projects and Its Contributions to Society." Finally, the Association’s Secretary General, Meyreme Oğuz Kantekin, will share insights into sociologists’ field experiences with a talk titled "Fieldwork Experience and the Role of Fieldwork in Sociology."
The event is open to the public, and all those interested in the topic are warmly invited to attend.
