Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism "10. The International Congress of Turkish Folk Culture" was held in Ankara between December 11 Dec-13, 2023. During the three-day congress, presentations were made under six separate topics: "General Topics," "Folk Literature," "Traditions, Customs and Beliefs," "Games, Music Entertainment," "Material Culture” and “Intangible Cultural Heritage".
Head of the Department of Sociology Prof. Dr. Kamil Kaya attended the congress on December 11, 2023 with a session chairmanship and a presentation titled “Changes in Marriage Customs in the Modernization Process”. The December 12, 2023 program was held at the Complex with the participation of Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and Emine Erdogan.
