Culture and Tourism Minister MEHMET NURİ ERSOY stated that when 2022 is completed, 51.5 million visitors and approximately 46 billion dollars of tourism income are expected.
Minister Nuri Ersoy, who made a budget presentation for the year 2023 at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, stated that the Galataport project also contributed significantly to this upward revision.
Speaking about the year 2023, Minister Ersoy stated that the targets will grow much more this year. He said that with the target of $56 billion and 60 million visitors, Turkey will now be in the super league by 2023.
