Explaining that the war situation between Ukraine and Russia created an uncertain atmosphere in the tourism sector, Heper stated that despite this, a positive expectation was created in the sector with the softening of the pandemic conditions, and that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism targeted 100 million tourists in 2028.
Drawing attention to the Tourism Occupation Law in order to keep qualified employees in the sector, Heper reflected the importance of the fact that the qualified employee who shifted to other sectors during the pandemic period can only be protected by the Tourism Occupation Law and that the law should be enacted as soon as possible.
