The College of Europe Postgraduate Scholarship Programme applications started for the Academic year

With the support of private sector, NGO’s and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs EU Directorate opened the applications for the College of Europe Postgraduate Scholarship Programme on 1 October 2021. The deadline for application is 19 January 2022.

The "College of Europe Postgraduate Scholarship Programme", conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs, continues with backing from the private sector, non-governmental organisations, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the College of Europe. Those who qualify for the scholarship can obtain a 10-month postgraduate education at the College of Europe (College of Europe / College d'Europe).

The College of Europe was founded in Bruges, Belgium in 1949 to offer academic assistance to the European integration efforts and to educate bureaucrats for institutions of the European Union. The College, where education in English and French is compulsory, holds a prominent status and immense respect in the field of European studies. Graduates from the College occupy high-ranking positions in EU institutions, public institutions of member and candidate states, as well as in the private sector and non-governmental organizations.

The Presidency has planned to offer scholarships for highly academic students who are interested in a master's degree in the European Union field. The scholarship will be available for the academic year 2024-2025 at the College of Europe. The number of scholarships is dependent upon our private sector and non-governmental organizations. The scholarship announcement attached outlines the application requirements, with a deadline of 16th January 2024. Further information regarding the scholarship programme can be found on the Presidency's website at https://www.ab.gov.tr/53611.html. From 2010 to 2023, 163 students were offered the opportunity to study for a master's degree at this esteemed institution.

Applicants should have completed a university degree or be final year students in fields such as law, economics, social sciences, or communication and possess a strong command of both English and French. Upon completion of the application process, the College of Europe will prepare a pre-selection list by reviewing application files. Scholarship recipients will then be selected from among the candidates on this list through an interview process.
