The last event of the term, organized by the IGU Turkish Language and Literature Department Language, Thought and Literature Club, was held in the context of "Expert and Student Meetings." The event named "Authoring, Publishing, and Editing" was held online on Google Meet on 04.06.2021 between 20.00-21.30. Şenol Tombaş, editor-in-chief, poet, and writer of Halk Edebiyatı journal, was the speaker at the event. Faculty members and students of IGU Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Language, Thought and Literature Club members and followers of the Halk Edebiyatı journal attended the event.
In the first part of the event, Şenol Tombaş told the participants how he started writing and gave important information about writing and authorship by presenting some sections from his last book, Yazarlığın Kutsal Kitabı. "Where to start writing?" Answering his question with examples from his book, Tombaş gave many tips to those who want to be writers.
Sharing his experiences in the publishing industry in the other part of the event, Tombaş talked about publishing and editing and spoke about the steps in the publishing process of a magazine. After answering the questions from the participants on authorship, publishing, and editing, the event ended.
