The "Colorful Anatolia" exhibition, compiled from Ara Güler's (1928-2018) trips to Anatolia over many years and featuring colorful photographs taken by the artist, meets art lovers at the Ara Güler Museum in Bomontiada. In the exhibition, covering the half-century period between 1957 and 2003, streets, buildings and people of Anatolia, some of which no longer exist, come to life again in Ara Güler's photographs. Güler's photographs give us an aesthetic reminder of the richness of this geography and the cultures that existed on it. Ara Güler, who was able to keep up with this change during the periods when color photography began to be in demand in the world, has a total of 89 photographs in the exhibition, some of which will be exhibited for the first time.
The "Colorful Anatolia" exhibition can be visited at Yapı Kredi Bomontiada until April 7, 2024, except for Mondays, between Tuesday and Saturday 10.00-18.00 and Sunday 12.00-18.00.
