The new graduates of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Turkish Language and Literature Department organized a graduation dinner party on Wednesday, June 15th. The students who graduated from IGU Department of Turkish Language and Literature this year and faculty members of the department attended the dinner held at Yıldız Hisarı Facilities overlooking the Bosphorus. After the graduation dinner party, the emotional slide show prepared by the students, which included the speeches of the faculty members and the precious memories of the students, was watched. After the graduation cake was cut, souvenir photos were taken.
On Tuesday, June 21, the graduation ceremony of the undergraduate and graduate departments of our university was held at the Küçükçekmece - Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performance Center. The ceremony, which started with the Turkish National Anthem and a moment of silence, continued with the speeches of our Rector and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. After the presentation of the students ranking the highest, the faculties were invited to the stage one by one. After the graduation oath was taken, an enthusiastic cap throwing ceremony was held.
On this occasion, we, as the IGU Turkish Language and Literature family, wish success to our 2021-2022 graduates and would like to remind you that we will remain a family for life.
