IGU Turkish Language and Literature Department hosted Latife Tekin, whose latest novel, “Zamansiz” has just been published. In the event, which was also the occasion to celebrate the release of the new book, a conversation was held with the author on "our literature and the art of the novel". Answering the questions asked by the students to him, Tekin said, "I write in the language of the poor, I try to pull myself out of the language." The first part of the program ended with the screening of a short film adapted by Tekin's novel “Ormanda Olum Yokmus” by the students of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature.
