International Kahramanmaraş “The Road of Literature” Bicycle Race

The tunnels and viaducts built between Kahramanmaraş and Göksun were named important Turkish literary figures with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and this road was named "The Road of Literature." "The Road of Literature" Bicycle Race will be held on 3-4 July in this region where many leading representatives of Turkish literature grew up. The Road of Literature, which consists of 11 tunnels, 2 viaducts, and 3 bridges in the city, will be used in the race. In addition to Turkey, 250 athletes from many different countries such as Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Netherlands, and Poland will participate.
 
Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Hayrettin Güngör said international organizations are an excellent opportunity to promote the city's bright literary history and natural beauties at the launch meeting of the competition. Explaining that the town has unique natural beauties and significant investments have been made to visit them comfortably, Güngör said that Kahramanmaraş, which is at the lead in literature, also wants to be known for sports.
