The Board of Higher Education (YOK) announced on September 28, 2021, that the new regulation for "Pedagogical Formation Education" has entered into force. In the statement made by the Board of Higher Education (YOK), the following was stated: "Our Board reviewed the procedures and principles regarding pedagogical formation education prepared on 18.11.2015 and made necessary arrangements. In this framework, pedagogical formation education certificate programs have been aligned with the new teaching programs that have been implemented since the 2018-2019 academic year by taking the opinions and suggestions of the stakeholders. As a result, "Framework Procedures and Principles Regarding Pedagogical Formation Education," in its updated form, was approved by the Council of Higher Education and entered into force to be implemented from the 2021-2022 academic year."
