Asst. Prof. Çağlayan Hergül was the speaker at the event organized by the Language, Thought and Literature Club of IGU Turkish Language and Literature Department. Hergül started his speech by explaining the concept of "reading the artist and the work of art." Giving brief information about Holbein's life, Hergül touched on the conditions and people that affected the artist's character. Stating that "The Ambassadors" is one of the works that best reflects the Renaissance spirit and thought, Hergül analyzed the picture from various perspectives and gave information about the anamorphic design. The event ended with answering questions from the participants.
