Years after Antares, which was published as Turkey's first science fiction magazine in 1971, and the following magazines such as X-Unknown, Göktaşı and Atılgan, Roket magazine started its publication life as "Turkey's first science fiction story magazine". The first issue of the "Rocket Science Fiction Story Selection", edited by the writer Ruhşen Doğan Nar, who attracted attention and appreciation in the local science fiction literature community with her novels and stories, has been published. Published by Plüton Publishing, "Roket" magazine is a first in Turkish science fiction literature as it consists of only science fiction stories. The first issue of the magazine features stories by Emre Bozkuş, Faruk Korkmaz, Fredric Brown (translated by İsmail Yamanol), Metin Uçar, Orkun Uçar, Ruhşen Doğan Nar and Ümit Büyükyıldırım.
