Asst. Prof. Şerefnur Atik, a faculty member of the IGU Department of Turkish Language and Literature, wrote an article on "Babama Mektup" in Oğuz Atay's book Korkuyu Beklerken. In the article, Atik analyzed the "father" figure, one of the indispensable figures of Turkish and World literature, in the light of theory of aesthetics with irony and reception, within the framework of Oğuz Atay's famous narrative.
