Abdülkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelisim University, was the guest of the "Xeber Ertesi" program of Xezer TV Channel, one of the most important television channels of Azerbaijan. Giving information about life in Turkey and education at Istanbul Gelisim University for Azerbaijani students and their families, Gayretli visited Western Caspian University during his visit to Azerbaijan and met with the founder of the university, Prof. Dr. Hüseyn Bağırov.

Istanbul Gelisim University, which has achieved success on a global scale with its constantly improving opportunities, provides many advantages to its students, especially in academic and social fields with the slogan "Be Open to Progress." Moving forward to become a "World University" with the opportunities it offers to its students in the national and international arena, IGU is one of the universities with the highest number of international students in Turkey. Abdulkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IGU, who was a guest of Xezer TV Channel, one of the most important television channels of Azerbaijan, emphasized the internationalization policy. Gayretli gave information about life in Turkey and education standards at Istanbul Gelisim University for Azerbaijani students and their families.

A meeting was held with Prof. Dr. Huseyn Bağırov, Founder of Western Caspian University

Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli visited Western Caspian University in Baku with Corporate Communications Department Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Bülent Değirmenci and International Students Office Director Umedjon Haitmurodov. At the meeting, the issue of acting together on scientific research and projects, student and academician exchange program and other important events between Western Caspian University, which was founded in 1991 and is one of the first private universities in Azerbaijan, was discussed. Speaking about the rapid rise of IGU and its vision of becoming a world university in the international arena, Abdülkadir Gayretli expressed that the two universities develop different projects by making use of each other's opportunities and make significant contributions to the students. At the end of the visit, a plaque was presented to the founder of Western Caspian University by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IGU.
