An article titled “The Role of Digital Media in Image Formation: A Study on the Projection of Corporate Image on the Consumer” was published in the Academic Journal Etkileşim of the Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication by Asst. Prof. Sezgin Savaş, lecturer at the Department of Public Relations and Publicity at Istanbul Gelişim University and Prof. Sevimece Karadoğan Doruk.
In the research conducted to reveal how the corporate identity is reflected by the institutions through digital media, the level of formation of the corporate image in the desired direction as a result of the identity presentation, and the image formation and the dependency level of digital media; it was concluded that other activities (sponsorship, advertising, etc.) are more important than digital media activities in the image creation and maintenance phase.
