The Turkish Language and Literature Department organized an event with the participation of academicians and students of our university on the death anniversary of Mehmet Akif Ersoy.

In the event, the faculty members of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature Assistant Professor Dr. Hayati YAVUZER, Assistant Professor Dr. N. Gamze ILICAK, Assistant Professor Dr. M. Ünal ŞAHİN and Assistant Professor Dr. Pelin EKŞİ talked about Mehmet Akif's life, his world view, the nature and effect of her poems.

The eventstarted at 10.30 in the J Block auditorium on 27 December and ended at 12.00.
