Students from the Public Relations and Publicity Department of İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi came together at Aydos Forest as part of the “We Meet for Nature” event and carried out an environmental clean-up activity.

The project, organized within the scope of the Sustainability and Communication course under the coordination of Assist. Prof. Dr. İlknur Gümüş and with the participation of department representative Research Assistant Emre Ergen, enabled our volunteer students to sort the waste they collected from nature at the Mobile Waste Collection Center of Sancaktepe Belediyesi and contribute it to recycling.

Organized with the slogan “I Love Green, I Protect My Future,” the project created a lasting and sustainable awareness by allowing students to engage directly with nature. Through this meaningful experience, our students also gained valuable insight into adopting environmentally friendly habits in their daily lives.
