The workshop was conducted by Asst. Prof. Erdem Türkavcı. During the event, comprehensive information was shared on the fundamental dynamics of sports journalism, content production in sports media, news language, field experience, and the technical aspects that should be considered in sports photography. Students had the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge as well as participate in practical exercises.

The event, which aimed to raise awareness about sports media, also helped students gain industry-related experience and become more familiar with professional media production processes. At the end of the workshop, participants stated that the knowledge and experience they acquired in the fields of sports journalism and photography would serve as valuable guidance for their future career planning.
