In accordance with the provisions of Article 17 of Istanbul Gelisim University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations, attendance is 70% in theoretical courses and 80% in applied courses.

(1) Every student has to attend lectures, practices, laboratories, projects, seminars, workshops, internships, graduation studies and similar studies for the semester he/she will attend.
(2) (Amendment: OG-13/6/2018-30450) Students who do not attend at least 70% of the theoretical courses, and at least 80% of the practice and laboratories and whose absences are announced, will be given a midterm exam, make-up exam for that course, finals are not taken to make-up exams and cannot benefit from additional exam rights.
(3) (Amendment: OJ-13/6/2018-30450) For the courses whose attendance condition has been met before, repeat attendance is not required in the fall and spring semesters. However, in summer education, students have to attend the courses they have registered for. When they take the courses they missed in the summer education again in the fall and spring semesters, they have to continue the courses.
(4) The health reports that students will receive are not taken into account in the calculation of the duration of the course. The student is considered absent for the duration of the report.
