IGU's Rise in Webometrics World University Rankings
İstanbul Gelişim University rose 29 places compared to last year, ranking 2249th in the 2024 Webometrics World University Rankings. Our school, which continues to rise in the last three years and moves forward with the vision of a research university, ranked 58th among Turkish universities. IGU ranks 14th among Türkiye's private foundation universities; in the 2024 Continental Ranking, it rose 5 places compared to last year and ranked 813th.
Webometrics World University Rankings are one of the most well-known academic rankings that evaluate all universities twice a year. The main purpose of the Webometrics World University Rankings is to significantly increase the transfer of scientific and cultural knowledge produced by universities to the whole society, and it is a prestigious ranking in which all universities want to rank higher.
IGU, which has continued its rise in the last three years in the highly prestigious Webometrics World University Rankings, continues to achieve success on a global scale with its initiatives in the scientific, technological and cultural fields.
